Constable Gordon came to visit Hub 5 & 6


We did some great learning with constable Gordon. We did a lot of thinking about how to cross the road safely.

Practising our list words with word finds and chalk

We are practising looking for our list words in word find puzzles, looking through each line from left to right.  Another great way of practising them is drawing with chalk outside. We have put some of them up on our word wall, so we have another place to look if we get stuck.

Reading 'The Snow Bus' and Applying Understanding

We have been reading the play The Snow Bus. Katie then thought to Apply our Understanding we could create our own Snow Bus. We then problem solved as we don't have snow. Aarav thought that using the slide might be a good test.

reading provocation -'Max Saves a Frog' and how can we be friendly to frogs.

We have to keep the frogs safe, because they are very special animal. No other animals can be like a frog and they are the most beautiful animal and they are funny frogs. Divesh

We are making a picture for where the frogs need to live. If we don't do this then the frogs won't be able to live here in our school. Emma

We read a book and we want the frogs to be safe with us. We need water shade and soil. We are doing a picture plan and design to help keep the frogs safe at Stonefields school. Alvyn 

We need to try and save our frogs. Frogs are special because they can eat flies and mosquitoes, bugs and they  live under the ground. We are trying to make our ideas to be a pond for frogs in the school. Harrison
