Keeping warm
This morning was a bit crisp! The heaters were blaring, the gloves were on and the fleeces were out in full force. This did not stop the learners from hub whetū from getting out there for a frog jump race. Look at the determination of Philip - the winner of our frog leaping challenge.

Change & Weather
Hub whetuu has a weather based concept focus over the coming weeks, understanding seasons, hot cold, insulation & temperature.
Today learners discussed the weather for today, how should we be dressing? what is best suited for the winter? - I think they have put together some great choices for a cold winters day.

Ana's amazing writing
Ana, you amazed me today the way you showed such determination during literacy and had a really good go at demonstrating your understanding of Matariki.

Duathlon Friday 9th June
Exciting the duathlon is just around the corner - everyone is excited for their race. However to make the day run smoothly please make sure your learner has their own helmet and a pair of closed toe shoes, if your learner shows up on the day without them unfortunately they will be unable to participate. We encourage all of our learners to give it a go. If you have not signed up with one of our lovely hub teacher please do do.
