Break Through Week 2 with Mrs Elliot and Jess

We are learning by discovering dance through the alphabet!

We were in the learning pit when looking at acrobats!

But we were determined and did it!!!

Jess showed us how to do an arebesque.

This is a move from ballet.

The we learnt about ball room dancing!

Be determined Tobias, you can do it!

We needed to collaborate with a buddy when dancing.

We got to wear wigs for disco dancing!!!

Fractions

Today we made bear faces using bread, banana and raisins. We practiced cuting up food into halves and quarters.

We have been learning our high frequency words.

Tobias was very determined in his independent activities. You created 9 animals from plasticine, well done!

Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs

Today we acted out the story of Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs,  we pretended to be different types of dinosaurs.  Then we made houses out of blocks for the dinosaurs and made pictures of our favourite dinosaurs.

As a group the learners were asked to design a funny face.

The next step was to work collaboratively to create the design with a construction kit.
