Real Life Learning in Action!

You can't hold a Stonefields learner back!

Check out Charlie and Oliver in their kitchens baking up a storm.  They must have ran home and gotten their noses straight into their recipe books.  Well done, boys, you've really shown everyone that learning doesn't just happen between 9 and 3 at school.

How did they taste?  What was the best part about this home learning challenge?  What was tricky?

We can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!

Enjoy our photos and be sure to check back as more Hub 1 learners get in on the action...

Nathan's made a delicious fudge slice and has even shared the recipe with you all...

  1. Great going everyone! This looks better than what some of the contestants cook on 'My Kitchen Rules'! :)

Well done everyone, all your baking looks great! Kate did lots of learning when she was measuring and looking for numbers on the microwave and I learnt that chocolate pudding tastes great with goody gumdrops ice cream yum! Thanks for the fun challenge!

  3. All the photos look fabulous! Here are some pics of Margot's baking, decorating and sharing with the family - to a thunderous round of applause!
Margot made vegan banana cupcakes with lemon icing - delicious! She helped read all the recipe amounts and met the half fraction for the very first time. (Mummy also spilled the hundreds and thousands all over the floor which Margot helped clear up - now we know why they are called hundreds and thousands!!)
