Culture Day Parade!

Look at all the amazing learners from Hub 5 dressed up  on Culture day. WE went for a parade around the hub and the whole school!!

Practising our list words with word finds and chalk

We are practising looking for our list words in word find puzzles, looking through each line from left to right.  Another great way of practising them is drawing with chalk outside. We have put some of them up on our word wall, so we have another place to look if we get stuck.

A special guest for the dance break through group!

On Friday the dance break through group had a ballet teacher come to visit to watch what they have been doing over the last few weeks!

The children were very excited to show off their skills and certainly learn some new ones. They enjoyed dressing up too!

Thank you so much to Karen who came in to help us. We learnt a lot and now we are going to keep practicing our routine to get even better :-)

Numeracy

Today for our warm up we ordered numbers to 20.

Then we decorated our cakes on our whiteboards with m&m's and beans. We were leaning how to add two sets of materials together.

A tiny hungry caterpillar looked for food....

He changed and grew big and built a cacoon.

After a few weeks he was a beautiful butterfly.
